Where do the Democrats stand now?
To become the Democratic parties primary candidate, the candidates in the running must end up with a total of 2,025 delegates. As things stand right now Obama is in the lead with 1,816 and Clinton has 1,668.
The general consensus is asking: Why is Clinton still in the race? Well, there are two possible explanations for that. One she’s just running out of pride or she really believes that she has an opportunity to win the Democratic candidacy. Either way the next few weeks prove to be quite interesting.
There are only five more states to go.
